Client Overview

The Pelvic Floor Institute is a Mobile, AL clinic focused exclusively on pelvic health. Its care offerings include pregnancy & postpartum rehab, pelvic pain management, bladder & bowel dysfunction, surgical recovery, manual therapy, core stability work, and more. The clinic is led by Ali Merz, PT, DPT, who provides one-on-one, empathetic physical therapy, aiming to help patients reclaim comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

Project Objectives

BrandMatter undertook this project to elevate the clinic’s brand, digital presence, and patient engagement tools. Goals included:

  • Creating a brand identity (logo + design system) aligned with the clinic’s warm, professional, judgment-free but expert practice
  • Designing and launching a website that clearly lays out services, treatment paths, and patient flows, with easy appointment scheduling
  • Ensuring mobile-friendly, accessible, and SEO-optimized site so patients in Mobile, AL and surrounding areas can find, understand, and engage with services
  • Establishing social media presence (Facebook & Instagram) to build awareness, educate, and connect with prospective and existing patients
  • Developing marketing material to support patient acquisition and referral (print/digital assets, messaging, visual identity)

Role and Responsibilities

BrandMatter delivered full creative, digital, and marketing support:

  • Brand identity / logo design

Design & Development Process

  • Mapped user journeys tied to the major service areas (post-partum rehab, pelvic pain, incontinence etc.), so patients can quickly find what’s relevant.
  • Designed site with emphasis on being seen, heard, and listened to: clean interface, approachable visuals, comfortable tone.
  • Provided robust service pages with clear descriptions of each therapy, what patients can expect, who they help, etc.
  • Integrated online appointment request scheduling to reduce friction for new patients.
  • Ensured resources (FAQs, intake forms, provider bios) to build trust and ease onboarding.
  • Launched social media channels with aligned visuals and content strategy to support education, community, and connection.
